Summary

In this short book, I outlined an algorithm to make and validate strategic decisions in technology.

We should always start from the question what value the decision brings. If it helps us sustain what we do, the solution should be chosen from commodities available on the market and financed accordingly. If we need something disruptive, we should first think what capabilities would enable us to invent fruitful disruptions again. 

Proper KPIs and processes will help us to keep the performance on track. Right values and culture will bring us to successful results instead of the formal process.

The alignment with the business priorities and monitoring what is happening in the world would help to stay relevant and outperform the competition.
